Hi, I’m Hanna, founder of The Finished Home. As a solo parent to two young boys, I am an efficiency seeker and type “A” gal.

I wear many hats and have found the secret to spending less time doing chores, is proper organization. Having systems in place to neatly keep our belongings means we can spend less time searching, picking up, putting away. No anxiety when I open my pantry, my closet door, or better yet, my children’s closet doors. Maybe most importantly, I’m not the only one in my house trying to keep things in place! Everyone pitches in, yes, especially the kids, because I have created a sustainable system to store and maintain the many things that we use everyday. When people know where something goes, they’re much more likely to put it back in that place (my very scientific studies have shown this theory applies to kids, husbands, housekeepers, grandparents, etc!).

Coming home means stepping into the space we’ve intentionally created to be peaceful and comfortable. The world is chaotic enough, your home doesn’t have to be! Let’s create a sanctuary within the walls of your home.
